Superhero Me

Superhero Me is a non-profit ground-up inclusive arts movement that serves as a platform to empower children of all abilities through the arts, social mixing and purposeful programming. The initiative has achieved various outcomes such as increasing access to creative arts for children who formerly may not have such opportunities and realising and harnessing the creative potential of children with disabilities, special needs and from less-privileged backgrounds through a range of art forms. More importantly, inclusive programming has helped to break down barriers and encourage positive attitudes in typically-developing children from mainstream schools during socialisation with children with diverse needs. Beyond community efforts, Superhero Me also engaged in partnerships with artists to provide them with arts training workshops to build on their professional capabilities and advocate for the adoption of a more inclusive approach in their work.
